This leaf was created from a sheet of copper using various hammeres and blunt chisels. My designs are free form and not planned. They evolve as I make them and therfor they are one of a kind.

The colors were created using nothing but a flame. The copper oxidizes to different colors depending on the temperature. No coatings or patinas were applied.
I finished it with two coats of lacquer to seal the colors permanently.
